Ryan Hadlock

Ryan is an outstandingly talented and versatile producer/arranger/mixer. Becoming known in recent times after producing The Gossip's hit album 'Standing In The Way Of Control', he has worked with some amazing and cult artists: Blonde Redhead, Afghan Whigs, Stephen Malkmus, Black Heart Procession and The Strokes to name but a few....

Spending the majority of time in his hometown of Seattle and working out of the infamous Bearcreek studio where he grew up (see studio page for info), Ryan was hanging out in the studio from the age of 2 and started assisting on sessions and producing from an early age! He also went on to play in various bands before moving back to producing full time. Ryan doesn't just work in the US however and is always willing to travel wherever the next project takes him.

Ryan had a great 2009, working on albums for Love Of Diagrams, a lush sweeping orchestral album with Ed Harcourt due out this year, a Kill It Kid album which was released to great critical acclaim as well as being shortlisted for the XFM new music award and the beautiful second Johnny Flynn album he has just finished and is due out this year.
